In this CNN "Special Report" on terrorist groups--kindly supplied by the Council on Foreign Relations, and don't get me started on THAT--we have before us many examples of revisionism and self-contradiction. Here's just one; the remainder are left as an exercise to the reader: The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade is a "militant" group, throughout the article, that "never intends to harm women and children." That's why they target restaurants and bus stops, huh?
If you read on in the article, you will come upon the subtler underpinnings of the "moral equivalency" argument: Jews and Arabs are two groups with similar claims to the same piece of land. If you believe that, I've got a bridge I'd like to talk to you about. (And the view from it northward over Manhattan is less obstructed than it used to be.)
