American Muslim: An Oxymoron?
In The Levitt Letter, Anis Shorrosh--a former Muslim, a Palestinian Arab who is now a Christian leader, asks and answers:
Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and loyal citizen?
Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia. Scripturally, no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran.
Geographically, no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially, no. Because his allegiance to Islam demands that he make no friends of Christians and Jews (Q. 5:51).
Politically, no. Because he must submit to the mullah, who teaches annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.
Domestically, no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Q. 4:34).
Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam-intolerance (Q. 2:256).
Intellectually, no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is established on Biblical principles, and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically, no. Because Islam, Muhammed, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is dictatorial or autocratic except Turkey.
Spiritually, no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is a triune God [not mine: "Hear, O Israel..." - Joel], while the Muslim's is one entity called "Allah," who is never a heavenly Father, nor is he ever called "Love" in the 99 excellent names.

Jpost: Allenby blast kills 5, wounds 60
This report seems to contain the same old stuff--except that five more people are dead, along with three over the weekend, and dozens injured.
The PM "holds the PA responsible." Well, that's what he says. But when a civilized nation holds someone responsible for mass murder, don't they do something other than mouth words? Like put the responsible parties in prison and try them for murder? What is it that makes Arafat immune to such proceedings? His $10 billion bank account, which has not been mentioned by any major media since its discovery?
Isn't it time to do something different? It disgusts me that Arafat's calculated mouthings are now earning him credit, just as Saddam's "invitation to inspect" makes all the Europeans and the UNgodly Nations say, "Oh, see--he really wants to comply!" In a word: Fooey.

Voice of Judea comments on light sentences handed down to convicted terrorists
The Jerusalem District Court accepted the state's appeal and increased the sentence of Taha Ahsan, 22, a member of Fatah's Tanzim militia who had planned to carry out several attacks in Jerusalem, to nine years prison.
Ahsan, a resident of the capital's Old City, was sentenced to five years' imprisonment on March 25.
Voice of Judea commentary: Here's another example of where Liberalism literally kills. The Israelis caught a die-hard terrorist. Instead of executing him or imprisoning him for life, preventing him from ever taking JEWISH life, they give him 9 years. After which he will get out, 9 years more bitter, more hateful, and with fewer options in life other than terrorism. Imprisonment HAS NO REHABILITATIVE VALUE FOR TERRORISTS. The only reason for imprisoning a terrorist is PREVENTION: to keep him off the streets. Jail will not reform him, just keep him from killing Jews.
As soon as he gets out, he will kill Jews with more hardcore hatred than before.
TO ISRAELI JUDGES: If you catch a terrorist, either execute him or imprison him for life. Anything else makes YOU a murderer and directly responsible for those he will kill when he gets out.
